There are a number of changes to the P6 teachers line-up and three changes to the school management next year.
Mrs Nam has officially been appointed as vice-principal of APS as of 15 Dec '10. She will take over Mr Derek Tan, who has been appointed as Assistant Director of the newly-formed Academy of Singapore Teachers @ MOE, with effect from 1 Jan 2011.
The HOD for Character Development is in turn taken over by Miss Elaine Thai.
Following the retirement of Mr Ong, Mrs Ratna takes over the HOD for English.

ReplyDeleteYeah, Miss Fion Lim taught 5.5 in 2010. All the kiddos have been rebanded based on Eng, Math and Sci for next year (tmr) though. (".)
ReplyDeleteBut those that are in for example, 6.7, and didn't get into 6.2 or 6.3 will remain in 6.7 right? Since 6.7 is sports class, then no other kiddos will be transferred to tt class...
ReplyDeleteIn 2011, all the kiddos have been rebanded from 6.1 to 6.6 based on their P5 Eng, Math & Sci results. Not only 6.2 and 6.3, like in 2010.
ReplyDelete6.7 is the sports class this year and remains unchanged becoz of their Fitness & Conditioning lessons in the morning.
All the other IMAS classes will only come together after school.
